Hello everyone, my name is Vivian Scheibner and I am 20 years old. At the beginning of January 2025, I completed my training as an insurance and financial investment specialist and have been working in the Commercial Liability Insurance department since then.
- How did you come up with the idea to do your training or dual study program at LEUE & NILL?
I first heard about LEUE & NILL through my godfather. Additionally, I saw LEUE & NILL at a student career fair and decided to apply there. The interview with Marco and Simon went so well that I immediately felt at ease.
- How was the transition from school to your apprenticeship/dual study program for you?
Of course, it was an adjustment at first, but you quickly got used to it. Besides, the training management was always very helpful and supportive.
- What did you like best about your training/dual study program at LEUE & NILL?
I enjoyed the time spent with the other trainees the most; the Christmas parties in particular will remain memorable. But we also like to look back on other trips we took together.
- What posed the greatest challenge for you at the beginning of your training? (such as making phone calls, sleep schedule, school/university, etc.)
At the beginning of my apprenticeship, I didn't like making phone calls because I didn't know as much about the subject yet and that made me feel insecure. However, that subsided over time and through the experience I gained.
- If you were to start over again at LEUE & NILL, what would you have done differently?
Looking back, I wouldn't do anything differently; I believe everything happened the way it was supposed to.
- What special experiences or projects shaped you in particular during your recent time at LEUE & NILL?
During the training program, you have the opportunity to independently participate in various projects. For example, I was part of the social media team. I always really enjoyed the work there.
- How would you describe the working atmosphere and the team (trainers / fellow trainees / head of training)?
The relationship with the training management was great. Right from the very first conversation, you were given a good feeling that accompanied you throughout the entire training period.
In addition, Marco and Simon helped one of them until their final exams.
- What would you advise new apprentices to get the most out of their training?
