Interview questions
- Introduction of the interviewee (name, department, etc.)
Hello everyone, my name is Vivian Scheibner and I am 20 years old. At the beginning of January 2025, I completed my training as an "Insurance and Financial Investments Management Assistant" and have been working in the Industrial Liability Insurance department ever since.
- How did you decide to do the apprenticeship or dual study program at LEUE & NILL?
I first heard about LEUE & NILL from my godfather. I also saw LEUE & NILL at a school fair and decided to apply there. The interview with Marco and Simon went so well that I immediately felt comfortable.
- How was the transition from school to vocational training/dual study program for you?
Of course it was a change at first, but you quickly got used to it. In addition, the training manager was always very helpful and supportive.
- What did you like best about your apprenticeship/ dual study program at LEUE & NILL?
What I liked best was spending time with the other trainees, especially the Christmas parties. But I also have fond memories of other joint excursions.
- What was the biggest challenge for you at the beginning of your apprenticeship? (e.g. making phone calls, sleeping patterns, school/university etc.)
At the beginning of my training, I didn't really like making phone calls because I didn't know that much about the subject and it made me feel insecure. But that changed over time and as I gained experience.
- If you were to start again from scratch at LEUE & NILL, what would you have done differently?
Looking back, I wouldn't do anything differently; I think everything went the way it was supposed to.
- What particular experiences or projects have had a special impact on you during your recent time at LEUE & NILL?
During the apprenticeship, you have the opportunity to work independently on various projects. For example, I was part of the social media team. I always enjoyed working there.
- How would you describe the working atmosphere and the team (trainers / trainee colleagues / training manager)?
The relationship with the training manager was great. From the very first interview, you were given a good feeling that stayed with you throughout the entire training period.
Marco and Simon also helped us through to the final exam.
- What advice would you give new trainees to get the most out of their training?
Have fun! 🙂
