Brief introduction: Who are you? How old are you? What do you do at LEUE & NILL?
Hello, I am Sude Özcinar, 18 years old, and started my dual study program at LEUE & NILL in August.
How did you find your first two days at LEUE & NILL?
The first two days at LEUE & NILL were very pleasant and wonderful. We not only got to know each other at a leisurely pace and played team-building games, but also received many welcome gifts, which were only a small part of the great time. Overall, I felt very comfortable and welcome, and I look back on the first two days with fond memories.
From the signing of the contract until today, how did you find the process?
The process from signing the contract to the start of the apprenticeship was smooth and straightforward. We had the opportunity to gain interesting insights and get to know each other as apprentices very early on. The atmosphere was always like a family, which made me look forward to meetings and the summer party every single time.
An event that made me very happy even before the start of my training was an anti-stress care package for my high school graduation.
Even beyond that, you really felt like part of the team from a very early stage, which is truly wonderful.
What else do you expect from the Starter Week?
I'll let the rest of the Starter Week surprise me. Nevertheless, I can well imagine that we will learn even more about the various departments. Perhaps team-building activities and further training sessions are also on the agenda. It's bound to be really cool!
What did you like best about Starter Week so far?
What I liked best was that we've been able to spend so much time with the other LuNAs so far. That not only brought us closer together, but was also a lot of fun. We were able to get to know each other calmly and master tasks together.
Why did you decide to do your apprenticeship at LEUE & NILL?
Before my A-levels, I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do afterwards.
While looking for different degree programs, I came across the dual study program here at LEUE & NILL. Right from the interview, I was welcomed very warmly and openly, and I immediately felt at ease. The atmosphere here is very pleasant, and the relationship with the training managers Marco and Simon, as well as with the trainees and dual students, is very relaxed. I quickly realized that I could picture a future for myself here and ultimately accepted the offer very happily.
What do you find special about LEUE & NILL?
I find the family-like atmosphere here at LEUE & NILL truly remarkable. You very quickly noticed that this is a family business that places great value on getting along well and providing a lot of support. The relationship with the training managers Marco and Simon, as well as among the LuNAs, is very relaxed and pleasant, which immediately makes you feel right at home.
What was different about the application process compared to other companies?
During the job interview, my nervousness was quickly put at ease because, before talking to my training manager Marco, I was able to have a conversation with the trainee Klara first. It is also worth mentioning that we were already allowed to use the informal "du" with each other via email beforehand. For me, that was further confirmation of just how familial the atmosphere really is.
The conversation was very pleasant. No difficult questions were asked, as one usually imagines such an interview to be. Rather, it was a session for exchanging ideas, warming up, and getting to know each other.
Overall, you quickly noticed that the focus was not on good academic performance, but on morals and humanity.
How did it come about that you want to complete an apprenticeship as an insurance and financial investment specialist or a dual study program?
I found out about the dual study program here through an acquaintance of mine who works at LEUE & NILL. After doing some research, my interest in the insurance industry was sparked.
Generally speaking, I decided on a dual study program in the insurance industry because it allows me to apply theoretical knowledge directly in practice. Through this combination, I saw the opportunity to grow personally as well and thus enter my working life with a great deal of knowledge.
How did you like the company party?
It was nice to have been given the opportunity to attend the company party.
On the one hand, it was very exciting to get to know many future colleagues in person. On the other hand, there were many activities, such as playing golf together, a delicious meal, and the many speeches, which I really enjoyed.
What are your expectations for the training?
My expectations for the apprenticeship include learning a lot of new things and gaining a good insight into the insurance industry. I am full of anticipation and excited to see what the upcoming period has in store.
It will certainly be an exciting and very educational time!
