Short introduction: Who are you? How old are you? What do you do at LEUE & NILL?
Hello, I'm Jan Malte Hüser, 25 years old and I started my training as an insurance and financial investment specialist at LEUE & NILL on 01.08.2024.
What did you think of your first two days at LEUE & NILL?
The first few days were very exciting for me, but I still felt very comfortable after a short time. I particularly liked the fact that all the LuNAs went out to eat together, so we were able to exchange ideas and clarify any unanswered questions.
From signing the contract to today, how did you find the process?
I liked the process since signing the contract, especially the way the buddies looked after us - for example with the care package, the invitation to the company outing and going out to eat together after signing the contract.
What else do you expect from Starter Week?
I am really looking forward to the upcoming trip to Bonn and hope that we will learn a lot more.
What have you liked best about Starter Week so far?
I think it's great that we've been able to learn and discover so much on our own. I particularly enjoyed the company rally, as it allowed us to get to know the building and some of our colleagues better.
Why did you decide to do your apprenticeship at LEUE & NILL?
I actually made the decision immediately after the interview. I was immediately impressed by the way Marco conducted the interview. I also liked the fact that one of the LuNA buddies was there to accompany the interview.
What do you find special about LEUE & NILL?
LEUE & NILL is an exciting company for me. The combination of tradition, experience and the family environment played a major role in my career choice, which is why I ultimately chose this company.
What was different about the application process compared to other companies?
I had completely different experiences at other companies than at LEUE & NILL. There, for example, I had to create posters and speak in front of large groups. In contrast, I liked the application process here much better because you could introduce yourself much more personally in a smaller group.
How did you come to want to train as an insurance and financial investment specialist?
I spoke to friends of mine who are currently doing this training or have already completed it, and they were all very satisfied. In general, I find the insurance sector very exciting and interesting.
What are your expectations of the apprenticeship?
I hope to gain valuable practical skills and knowledge during my apprenticeship that will help me in my future career. I am looking forward to interesting and varied tasks that will challenge me and help me to further improve my strengths. In general, I hope to have a good time with nice colleagues, to grow with the challenges and to do fulfilling work.
