Hello, my name is Fatime Shala and I am 24 years old. I have been with LEUE & NILL since August 1, 2020, and I work in the finance department.
How did you come up with the idea of doing your apprenticeship at LEUE & NILL?
Our school had provided us with a career counselor who introduced the company to me, and then I gathered information about the company on my own and subsequently applied.
How did your work week go?
Monday through Wednesday and Friday afternoons I went to work, and I had school all day on Thursdays and half a day on Fridays.
Do you like looking back on your training at LEUE & NILL?
Yes, since I have had almost exclusively positive experiences.
What caused you the most problems at the beginning of your training?
Getting used to the 8-hour workday and making phone calls was difficult for me at first.
A highlight moment in the training
I like to look back fondly on the trips with our Luna team.
Funniest moment during my apprenticeship
There were many funny moments 🙂
How did things go for you after your apprenticeship?
I already decided during my third year of apprenticeship to move to the finance department in our company.
Were your expectations met during the training? Or rather, what had you hoped for before the training?
I had hoped to find an employer where I enjoy going to work and can stay after my apprenticeship.
Do you still have contact with your former fellow trainees? What was your relationship with the other trainees like in general?
Yes, we still maintain contact to this day. I was very fortunate to have a great class.
How was your relationship with your training managers?
Very good. Marco and Simon always had a listening ear for us and supported us wherever they could.
How do you like the atmosphere in our company?
Very good.
Did you find the apprenticeship stressful, or did you feel stressed during your apprenticeship?
Because I went to school half the week and to work the other half, it got stressful at times during the exam period; apart from that, I found the training to be manageable.
