Launching together, our Starter Week

Starting an apprenticeship means not only getting to know a new workplace and many new tasks, but above all getting to know the people you will be spending the next period of time with. That is precisely what the Starter Week for our new trainees was all about.

During the first few days, the main focus was on getting to know each other. Through various team-building activities, our new LuNAs were able to take action together right away. Instead of just sitting next to each other in the meeting room, it was all about trying things out, gathering ideas, communicating with one another, and finding solutions as a team. One of the tasks, for example, was to build structures that were as stable and creative as possible using simple materials. It quickly became clear that without good coordination and teamwork, you don't get very far. Coordination, communication, and mutual support were also required for other team tasks. Of course, there was plenty of fun to be had along the way as well.

The Starter Week thus offered the perfect opportunity to get to know each other away from the normal daily work routine and to make initial contacts. At the same time, we were able to experience how important teamwork is, because together challenges can often be mastered much more easily.

Action, roller coasters, and all the LuNA's together

After the first week together, the program was not over yet. In the second week, they went to Heide Park. This time, not only the new trainees were there, but all trainees from the different years of apprenticeship.
Between roller coasters, attractions, and plenty of action, this was once again an opportunity to get to know each other better and exchange ideas with trainees from other years. Especially for the new trainees, this was a great way to quickly integrate and meet those who have been around a bit longer.

Thus, the first two weeks were not only a varied introduction to the training, but above all a shared start as a team. Many new faces, exciting challenges, and plenty of shared experiences—a successful kick-off to the training period!
