LEUE & NILL at DKM 2024: Our highlights from the leading trade fair for the insurance industry
DKM - short for "Die Kompositmesse" - is the leading trade fair for the insurance and finance industry in Germany. For years, it has brought together experts, service providers, suppliers and brokers to present innovative solutions, discuss current trends and build valuable networks.
On October 29 and 30, 2024 , it was that time again: the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund became the hub of the industry. LEUE & NILL was also proud to be represented at the leading trade fair as one of the largest insurance brokers in Germany.
Networking and outlook
DKM 2024 was not only a stage for products and services, but also a place for exciting discussions and new contacts. Our employees and we LuNAs took the opportunity to discuss current challenges and future developments with other industry representatives.
From new regulations and the use of artificial intelligence to opportunities for brokerage companies: The DKM provided us with numerous impulses that we will take with us into the coming year.
An exciting day for the LuNAs at DKM 2024
On October 30, we made our way to the Westfallenhallen in Dortmund full of anticipation to experience the largest trade fair for the insurance and finance industry up close.
For us LuNA's, the visit to the DKM was, as always, a real highlight!
What the LuNAs expected
As soon as you entered the exhibition halls, it was clear: this is where the heart of the industry beats. Exciting stands, innovative solutions and experts discussing the latest trends were everywhere.
Highlights for the LuNAs
In addition to the networking and the presentations, we were particularly impressed by the innovative topics. We found the insights into cyber insurance and sustainable solutions particularly exciting - areas that are also becoming increasingly important for us as LuNAs in training. Another highlight for us were the many great stands, where there was always the opportunity to win something. One of us trainees was even lucky enough to win the main prize in a raffle: VIP tickets for a Champions League game!
In addition to the exciting competitions, the varied and delicious food was also a source of enthusiasm. Whether snacks or rich dishes - there was something for everyone. So there was plenty of fun and variety between the presentations at the various stands.
Conclusion
For us LuNAs, DKM 2024 was a day full of new impressions, exciting discussions and lots of inspiration. We not only learned a lot about the industry, but also about how important it is to connect with other people and shape the future together. We are already looking forward to incorporating our knowledge and experience into our day-to-day work.
