LEUE & NILL at DKM 2024: Our highlights from the leading trade fair for insurance industry
The DKM – short for „Die Kompositmesse“ – is the leading trade fair for the insurance and financial industry in Germany. For years, it has brought together experts, service providers, vendors, and brokers to present innovative solutions, discuss current trends, and build valuable networks.
I am October 29 and 30, 2024 the time had come once again: the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund became the hub of the industry. LEUE & NILL was also proud to be represented at the leading trade fair as one of Germany's largest insurance brokers.
Networking and Outlook
The DKM 2024 was not only a stage for products and services, but also a place for engaging conversations and new contacts. Our employees and we LuNA´s seized the opportunity to discuss current challenges and future developments with other industry representatives.
From new regulations on the use of artificial intelligence to opportunities for brokerage firms: DKM provided us with numerous insights that we will take with us into the coming year.
An exciting day for the LuNA's at DKM 2024
On October 30th, full of anticipation, we made our way to the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund to experience the insurance and financial industry's largest trade fair firsthand.
For us LuNAs, the visit to the DKM was, as always, a true highlight!
What awaited the LuNA's
Even upon entering the exhibition halls, it was clear: this is where the heart of the industry beats. Exciting booths, innovative solutions, and experts discussing current trends could be found everywhere.
Highlights for the LuNA's
Besides the networking and the presentations, we were particularly enthusiastic about the innovative topics. We found the insights into cyber insurance and sustainable solutions especially exciting – areas that are becoming increasingly important for us as LuNA trainees as well. Another highlight for us was the many great booths that offered constant opportunities to win things. One of us trainees was even lucky enough to win the grand prize in a raffle: VIP tickets for a Champions League match!
In addition to the exciting sweepstakes, the diverse and delicious food also caused enthusiasm. Whether snacks or hearty meals – there was something for everyone. Thus, fun and variety between the presentations at the various booths were provided all around.
Conclusion
For us LuNA's, the DKM 2024 was a day full of new impressions, exciting conversations, and a lot of inspiration. We not only learned a lot about the industry, but also about how important it is to connect with other people and shape the future together. We are already looking forward to bringing our knowledge and experience into our daily work.
